Tuesday, 4th March

We left our luggage at the hotel's common room and went to Westminster Abbey. I've never ever seen such a crowded church! To me it seemed not a church, but more a mass-grave with golden letters on the floor! I was so furious that I had to calm myself down with some Mople Cream Pancakes...

Westminster Abbey

Getting from the hotel to the next tube station was a complete nightmare: my suitcase (argh, why always me??!) was so heavy that one of its wheels fell off. All the others had already gone and I sat on my suitcase, crying because I was angry + furious with myself and kicked my suitcase as hard as possible when suddenly a man arrived. He gave me a hanky, smiled and asked me why I was crying: I told him my story about the suitcase and cried even more when I realized that all the others were waiting for me at the tube station. But the man just started laughing and asked whether I needed a hand and I cried "No, two..." and he smiled again and took my suitcase to the tube station.

We arrived at Milton Keynes at 4.00 pm and Dr. David James, a teacher from Stowe (the school we were going to stay in), who strongly reminded me of Prof. Pestinger, picked us up with a school bus and took us to Stowe.

The school is sooo amazing, it's almost unbelievable! We had some tea and sandwiches in the European centre and then we were shown our different houses and rooms.

Stowe - main building

Ana and I live in Nugent house (apparently in the "Annex", a small part of Nugent), Lilith, Lara and Marlina in Lyttleton, another girl's house and the boys got split up into the other houses, like "Temple", "Bruce" and so on.

Supper was better than in the Theresianum though I didn't really know what it really was...some noodles with a yellow sauce, maybe cheese. After supper we mat at the EU-centre again to set out our timetables for the next day and got a short preview of the week. In the evening there was a so called "6th Form Centre", a kind of school disco with flashy spotlights and free beer...HEAVEN!

--> I love this school <--
