The students attend regular classes, deepen their knowledge of German, and experience European culture and history first-hand.

This is what former ISP students say

Our ISP students often return to their regular schools with mixed feelings. The time at the boarding school, life in Vienna and the everyday school routine fascinate and shape them and also cause quite a few of them to stay longer than planned. But read for yourself:

For me, it was a great opportunity not only to improve language-wise but also to get to know a new culture. Personally, the best part of my stay was the many excursions. I enjoyed learning more about the study opportunities and gaining insight into Viennese culture. But what impressed me the most were the trips that showed me parts of Europe that I had never visited before, truly broadening my horizons. From Graz to Florence, I can honestly say that they were eye-opening experiences from start to finish."

“I originally planned to spend a semester in Vienna. But I like it so much here that I decided to stay for a whole year. One reason for this extension was certainly my three roommates, with whom it's always fun. We go to the city together, to the gym, swim in the school's own swimming pool or run in the huge school park. Since I play golf professionally in the Czech Republic, the school allows me to train twice a week in Vienna. On weekends, I'm either at golf tournaments or out with the ISP group. I felt very comfortable in my class. I was warmly welcomed by my class teacher, Ms. Prof. Bending, and I can say: Don't think twice, come to Vienna to the Theresianum!"

“That was one of the best experiences of my life so far. Honestly, it is difficult for me to highlight specific highlights because everything was simply great. There was no moment that I perceived as negative. I really enjoyed school, and I made friendships there that mean a lot to me. The program itself created an incredibly great community. I felt extremely comfortable in the group, and it was a joy to spend time with so many great people - both with the teachers and with the other participants. If someone asks me if the ISP is worth it, I say clearly: Yes! I would participate again anytime."
