The Boarding School
A home away from home and a space for personal growth. In our boarding school, young people learn to take responsibility, live in community, and shape their everyday lives. Trust, respect, and cohesion characterize the togetherness. Friendships develop, personal strength grows, and self-confidence takes root. Here young people grow beyond themselves. Welcome to the place where the future begins. |
We open up opportunities. For those who grow independently.

Benedikt Völker, BEd MA
Internatsleiter
The boarding school of the Theresianum is a special place that accompanies young people on their way to adulthood beyond just lessons. This responsible task is dedicated to a team of well-trained and experienced educators who are available to our students seven days a week with guidance, advice, support, creativity, and a large portion of empathy.
The boarding students experience a unique mix of togetherness and independence with us and learn in a safe environment to organize their lives confidently. Together with peers, they follow a structured daily routine, which, besides fulfilling school duties and everyday tasks, also leaves a lot of room for shared experiences, making the boarding school a "home away from home" for children and teenagers aged 10 to 18. Because "home" in our boarding school is not just a place but a feeling of security and belonging that comes from togetherness.
Our goal is to lead the children and teenagers entrusted to us not only to academic success but also to promote a sense of responsibility and maturity by granting age-appropriate freedoms and assigning personal duties.
